2009 is behind us and the New Year brings us good news on many fronts. Interest rates are still holding steady at the present. We don't anticipate any major increases in the next few months. It's still a great time to buy at historically low rates! We have just experienced a phenomenal year of home sales in Canada, including Oshawa home sales, the second highest on record! Economic news is more favourable each week. The Stock Markets closed higher recently on better manufacturing numbers and fewer job losses. Even the auto industry has seen better than expected growth and GM has announced they will create 1000 new jobs in Oshawa by 2012. Economists are revising their original predictions for 2010 based on better than expected recovery in December.
